1. Read 52 Books
For the past four years, I’ve consistently set my Goodreads goal to 50 books, and finally managed to actually reach it in 2019! So, now I’m going to raise it the tiniest bit and aim to read 52.
2. Catch up on Netgalley books
I have a tendency to go on a requesting spree on Netgalley and then end up with too many books with too little time to read them, so I’m hoping to get on top of all of my Netgalley reviews in 2020.
3. Schedule and plan more blog posts
This is something that I started to do more of in 2019, but I want to be more consistent with my blog in 2020, and hopefully have a better plan of what I want to post and when.
4. Be more social
I reached 300 blog followers at the end of 2019 and I want to interact with you all a bit more! Being a socially anxious person has its difficulties but I’m really hoping to be able to put that aside and show more support for other bloggers this year!
5. Write more reviews
I was the worst at writing reviews in 2019. I hardly wrote any, and I’m so behind on them now. I’m hoping to catch up on as many as I can, and I’m going to make it a goal to sit down and at least make a few notes after each book I finish.
6. Bookmark quotes
I always tell myself that I’m going to use sticky notes in my books to mark the quotes that I love, but I always forget. It would be nice to be able to flip through my books and reread the parts that I loved.
7. Read every day
When I’m at uni, I can sometimes go days without reading a single page. I really want to sit down and read a little bit every night, though. I think it would be good to help me get off my phone before bed, and books are the perfect escapism from the stress of uni!
