Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week they suggest a new theme for bloggers to write about. This week’s topic was ’10 books that gave you a book hangover.’
After binge reading the entire trilogy, I was left not knowing what to do with myself after finishing QON. These books were so much fun, and I didn’t want them to end!
The Starless Sea is one of those books that you just wish you could live in. I found myself taking my time reading it because I never wanted to leave, and then when I did finish it, I wanted to start it all over again.
Ninth House was so different than I expected it to be — it had me practically on the edge of my seat the entire time, and I need a sequel in my life.
I made the decision to reread the Hunger Games trilogy last year, and even though I’ve read them countless times now, Mockingjay never fails to give me a book hangover (and make me ugly cry).
The Ten Thousand Doors of January is another one of those books that you just don’t want to end. It was so gorgeously written, and I absolutely adored the story. I’ve been planning a reread ever since I turned the last page.
No matter how may times I read it, Caraval still feels so magical to me, and always leaves me wishing for more in this world.
It’s officially been a year since I finished the Lunar Chronicles and I still think about them almost every day. I was SO sad when I finished the series, and even thinking about them now makes me want to revisit them so much.
I get the feeling that Crooked Kingdom has caused many a book hangover, and for good reason. I’m pretty sure this book shattered my heart and I am still not okay.
Heartless is another book that ripped my heart into little shreds and kept me thinking about it for days. (It is wonderful. Please read it).
I became very invested in this trilogy when I binge read it one summer and I still remember how it took me days to even consider jumping into a new book after it. It’s still one of my favourite trilogies!
❤
Have you read any of these? What did you think? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Some great books here. Crooked Kingdom was a trip. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/02/ttt-021820.html

I loved HERO AT THE FALL and it definitely left me with a book hangover too. THE TEN THOUSAND DOORS OF JANUARY was the same.

I think all of these are still on my TBR, and I should probably work on remedying that as soon as possible. xD I did read Hero at the Fall, and man did I have a really hard book hangover after that, too. Oof. I’m still waiting to read Queen of Nothing, and i really hope my hold comes in soon for that because I need to know how the series ends, darn it!
Here’s my TTT post.
